Introducing AMFREE One Machines

Industries today must reinvent their production tools. AMFREE addresses this by providing sustainable methods to reduce environmental impacts and encourage local practices, such as efficiently repairing high-value parts, while remaining competitive and profitable.

Innovative Hybrid Technology

AMFREE One machines offer robust, productive solutions for this need. They quickly produce or repair large metal parts, up to several meters in size. These machines can melt up to 1200 cm³/h of metal, roughly 8–10 kg/h of steel or 3–4 kg/h of aluminum.

These hybrid 4.0 machines integrate additive manufacturing, machining, and inspection. Targeted at manufacturers in energy, aerospace, defense, industry, and rail sectors, we ensures high-quality production from the outset. Equipped with latest-generation SIEMENS numerical controls, traditional machining operators can swiftly operate these machines, applying their skills effectively in additive manufacturing.

Reducing Environmental Impact

AMFREE One machines address key industrial challenges, including rapid production of high-value parts and sustainability. They simplify the supply chain, making specialized parts production as straightforward and competitive as mass production. Consequently, manufacturers increasingly adopt AMFREE technology, diversifying into repair services and enhancing their energy and resource efficiency.

Manufacturers gain greater independence regarding post-processing, improving responsiveness and reducing reliance on external providers. These machines apply anti-corrosion and anti-wear coatings during production using the same equipment.

By reducing transportation of large parts, these machines decrease hydrocarbon use, thus conserving energy. Local production shortens supply chains and drastically reduces raw material lead times. AMFREE One machines handle various materials like steel, stainless steel, aluminum, nickel, and copper alloys, streamlining supplier management and procurement.

Streamlined Supply Chains and Storage

AMFREE technology significantly reduces the need for specialized manufacturing tools and storage space. Welding wire comes conveniently packaged in spools or drums. As hybrid solutions, these machines enable dimensional inspection, surface preparation, part production, repair, and quality control—all in one place. This significantly shrinks the physical footprint required to create added value.

In 2024, AMFREE achieved ‘Young Innovative Company’ status and won the Innovation Competition. Supported strongly by the French government, ADEME, Bpifrance, and the Grand Est Region, these partnerships actively accelerate AMFREE’s international growth.
